It is small and private traders sell their products there, specifically those who grew this product, and not resellers who raise the price. At such bazaars they constantly sell fresh dairy products and freshly cut greens, and it was at such a market that we came across a carcass of a young nutria weighing 3 kilograms. Exactly what you need!

Nutria, like a rabbit, not only has valuable fur, but also several kilograms of useful meat! These animals are very clean, we saw this on one private farm, and besides, they will only eat high-quality food, which means their meat can be eaten without any fear.

Of all the recipes, we chose the most interesting one, namely stewing in sour cream. This is what we are sharing with you today.

Ingredients

  • nutria meat 350 grams;
  • one carrot;
  • onion head;
  • a tablespoon of fat;
  • half a glass of dry red wine;
  • a glass of meat broth;
  • a bunch of parsley;
  • fifty grams of walnuts;
  • a couple of cloves of garlic;
  • half a kilogram of potatoes;
  • salt;
  • ground pepper.

Preparation

  1. If you bought a whole carcass, then before cooking it you need to clean it, wash it and soak it in water or milk overnight.
  2. Chop into pieces.
  3. Next, heat the frying pan and pour fat into it.
  4. Add the meat and fry until a golden crust appears.
  5. Potatoes need to be washed and peeled.
  6. Cut into large slices.
  7. Fry until half cooked (until a crust appears).
  8. Peel the onion and cut into rings.
  9. We also clean and cut the carrots.

  • onions – 0.3 kg;
  • garlic – 5 cloves;
  • table mustard – 20 ml;
  • sour cream or mayonnaise – 100 ml;
  • fresh parsley – 50 g;
  • refined vegetable oil – 40 ml;
  • salt, ground black pepper - to taste.

Cooking method:

  • Rinse the skinned and gutted nutria carcass well and dry with a kitchen towel.
  • Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan. Put onions in it. Fry it until soft and light golden brown.
  • Press the garlic through a press, mix with mustard, sour cream or mayonnaise, salt and pepper.

The recipe itself is extremely simple, and the result is excellent.

  • nutria - one carcass;
  • seasoning for meat;
  • Bay leaf;
  • salt;
  • black allspice - 5 pieces;
  • ground allspice;
  • vegetable oil.

Preparation

  1. The first step is to cut the carcass. There are no very thick bones in nutria, so the only tool we need is a well-sharpened knife. Any meat taken from any part of the carcass is suitable for this dish - it doesn’t matter if it’s the back, ribs or legs.
  2. Rub the pieces with salt and then with a special seasoning for meat.
  3. Place aside to soak a little, not for long - about ten minutes.
  4. Place the frying pan on the fire and pour in some water. We are waiting for it to boil.
  5. Then we place pieces of our meat into it. Cook for about five minutes. Taste for salt, you may need to add a little. Add bay leaves for three minutes, and then immediately remove them.
  6. Throw in five peas of black allspice.
  7. Cook until the meat is almost completely cooked, until the water boils away; if necessary, add hot boiled water.
  8. When the water has completely boiled away, you need to sprinkle the already softened pieces of nutria meat with allspice.
  9. Pour a few tablespoons of vegetable oil and fry on all sides.

Preparation

  1. Nutria shish kebab is prepared in much the same way as any other meat.
  2. First of all, cut the meat and put it in some kind of bowl.
  3. Squeeze the juice from the lemon and sprinkle it over the meat.
  4. Add sunflower oil and vinegar.
  5. Sprinkle with ground pepper and parsley.
  6. Mix.
  7. We cut the onion into rings and send it to the meat.
  8. We marinate our kebab for at least five hours in the refrigerator. But marinating for too long is also unnecessary.
