"BlochNet" - drops for dogs
general description
The medicine is available in two versions - drops and spray. Both forms are intended for external use. The composition contains toxic components, the ingestion of which can cause poisoning.
BlochNet drops are a light yellow oily liquid. Packaged in polymer bottles with a pipette attachment. They are equipped with a screw cap, making them more convenient to use compared to disposable pipettes. In pharmacies, BlochNet drops are sold in four different versions: 1, 2, 3 and 4 ml for dogs of different weight categories.
The spray is externally presented in the form of a transparent, colorless liquid. A light yellow tint may be present. For packaging, polymer bottles are used, which are equipped with a spray head for easy application.
When storing the drug, you need to follow a few simple rules:
- The air temperature should be positive, but not more than 25 degrees Celsius.
- The medicinal liquid should be placed away from food and feed, as it contains toxic substances.
- Do not allow direct sunlight to come into contact with the medication bottle.
- The drug should not be stored near heat sources.
Note! During transportation, short-term freezing of drops is allowed. This does not affect the properties and action of the antiparasitic agent.
Contraindications for use
Drops and spray of the “BlochNet” line are not allowed to be applied to pregnant animals at any time, as well as during the period of feeding kittens and puppies. It is prohibited to prescribe the medication to pets under the age of 2-3 months. Use with caution on small breed dogs. It is also not allowed to apply any form of medication to individuals who have been diagnosed with infectious lesions and there is a significant decrease in immunity.
Attention! Despite the presence of contraindications, if immediate treatment is necessary, the veterinarian may decide to use BlochNet drops or spray. In this case, minimal doses of the active substance are used, and the animal’s condition is constantly monitored.
Composition and action
BlochNet is a unique drug of its kind. Its peculiarity lies in the fact that the developers managed to combine 4 active components in the medicine, but at the same time the concentration of each substance was carefully calculated. Thanks to this, the medication effectively destroys external parasites, but does not cause irritation or other discomfort in animals. It helps get rid of fleas, lice, ticks and lice, as well as protect against mosquitoes, which can be carriers of dangerous infectious diseases.
The active components of the drug are:
- Fipronil.
Included in many antiparasitic agents. The principle of its action is to block receptors in arthropods. As a result, the nervous system of the parasites stops working properly, which leads to paralysis and death. - Benzyl benzoate.
It has a pronounced acaricidal effect, that is, it destroys ticks. The peculiarity of the substance is that it penetrates the chitinous cover of parasites, and therefore affects ticks at all stages of development. - Yuvemon.
Causes developmental abnormalities in parasites that are at the larval or egg stage. Thanks to the action of this substance, BlochNet destroys fleas and lice at all stages of development. - Diethyltoluamide.
Provides protection to the animal from blood-sucking insects.
Almost all components accumulate in the upper layer of the epidermis, sebaceous glands, wool, but they do not penetrate the bloodstream and do not have a negative effect on the liver and other organs.
Main characteristics
The insecticidal acaricidal BlochNet max destroys larvae and fully mature ticks of various families, blood-sucking insects, and midges. The drug is characterized by excellent repellent properties, and its high therapeutic activity is due to the introduction of a unique complex consisting of different components:
— fipronil blocks the parasite and paralyzes the neuromuscular system. The result is paralysis, inevitable death;
— benzyl benzoate accumulates in the body of the parasite, creating a lethal concentration;
— dimethyl phthalate remains on the surface of the animal’s skin and hair, repelling healthy individuals of blood-sucking insects.

The drops are included in the group of low-hazard therapeutic and prophylactic substances; they have a gentle effect on the organisms of warm-blooded animals and do not have any irritating or toxic negative effects.
Indications for use
According to the instructions, both drops and BlochNet spray are used for dogs in the following cases:
- for entomoses caused by lice, fleas or lice-eaters;
- for ear scabies;
- when infected with sarcoptoid mites;
- when sucking ixodid ticks.
The drug is also excellent for protecting animals from ectoparasites. The main danger of external parasites is that they are carriers of infectious diseases. In addition, due to itching, pets scratch the affected areas vigorously, which can cause purulent wounds, inflammatory processes of the skin and other health problems.
Note! For reliable protection, the manufacturer recommends combining the use of drops and spray.
The drug can also be used to protect animals from mosquitoes.
Important recommendations for medication
When using the medicine, the following recommendations are additionally observed.
- After treating your pet, you should exclude its contact with children for two days.
- The owner also needs to take care of protecting his hands, eyesight and mucous membranes of the mouth and nose.
- After treatment, you need to wash your hands and change clothes.
- You can only rub in the product while wearing protective thick gloves.
- After treatment, the dog and cat should not be washed or allowed to get wet for 2 days.

How to use
Features of the use and application of the drug depend on the form of release.
Drops spot-on
BlochNet drops must be applied to the skin in the withers area so that the animal cannot lick the medicinal liquid. If the dog is large, the drops should be applied in several places. The fur needs to be spread to the sides so that the drug gets on the skin.
Note! Do not drip the medicine if there are wounds or other damage to the skin.
The dosage is calculated in a simple way:
- 2-5 kg – 0.5 ml (15 drops);
- 5-10 kg – 1 ml;
- 10-20 kg – 2 ml;
- 20-30 kg – 3 ml;
- 30-40 kg – 4 ml.
At the pharmacy, select bottles of appropriate capacity. If the dog weighs more than 40 kg, then a combination of pipettes will be required. Please note that for every 10 kg you need 1 ml of medicine.
To destroy parasites, the drug is applied once. When using the product for prophylactic purposes, treatment should be repeated every 1.5-2 months. For additional protection, it is recommended to spray your pet 2 hours before walking. Taking additional measures is especially important if there is a real risk of parasite infection, for example, if you are planning a walk in the forest where there are a lot of ticks.
Spray
The spray should be used like this:
- Shake the contents of the bottle.
- Cut the medicine onto the animal from all sides. If the coat is very long, it should be lifted during processing.
- Use a muzzle or tape to prevent your pet from licking the medicine. You can remove the device after the medicinal solution has completely dried.
The dosage is calculated simply - 1 ml per 1 kg of weight. One click on the spray head is equal to 1 ml of the drug. In case of severe infestation with fleas or lice, for long-haired breeds the dose can be increased to 2 ml per 1 kg.
Note! After using both drops and spray, the animal should not be bathed for 2 days. You should also prevent your pet from coming into contact with small children. You can't iron it.

Features of tick destruction
Depending on the type of tick, the drug is used as follows:
- If an ixodid tick is found on the body, you need to drop 1 drop of solution on it or spray it. If after 20 minutes the parasite does not fall off on its own, carefully remove it with tweezers and destroy it.
- For otodectosis, place 4-6 drops in each ear, depending on the size of the dog. First, clean the ear canals of scabs and dirt. If necessary, repeat treatment after 5-7 days.
- When infected with sarcoptic mites, BlochNet in any dosage form is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas. For the drug to be more effective, the epidermis must first be cleared of scabs. If necessary, repeat the procedure after a week.
The spray can also be used to treat the animal's bedding and habitat to prevent re-infestation.
Advantages of the drug
BlochNet is characterized by certain positive qualities that make it one of the leaders in the modern first aid kit for cats and dogs:
- The required amount of product for 1 procedure is minimal. The frequency of use of the medicine is equal to 1-2 months, and a small dosage limits the likelihood of side effects.
- The duration of the positive effect is significantly superior to alternative drugs. The time a pet comes into contact with infected animals can be months.
- BlochNet is relatively inexpensive, and the medicine is sold everywhere. Availability and low price make it very widespread and popular.
- Efficiency – after a single use, you can provide your pet with protection from all pathogens of infectious diseases.
- The unique composition and active ingredients limit the spread of even the smallest larvae. Many alternative formulations are not able to destroy parasite larvae, as BlochNet does.
To be completely confident in the health of your pet, you should combat parasites not as they are detected, but at the level of preventive measures. This will allow you to develop a certain immunity, which will reduce the likelihood of future infection even without using this remedy. BlochNet can be used to prevent infestation by mites belonging to the scabies group.
Contraindications and side effects
BlochNet is considered a safe product for dogs, however, the instructions for use indicate a number of contraindications. You cannot use the medicine:
- for weakened and exhausted animals;
- during the recovery period after severe illness and surgical interventions;
- for infectious pathologies;
- weighing less than 2 kg;
- in case of intolerance to components;
- if age is less than 10 weeks.
For pregnant and lactating females, the product is allowed to be used after consultation with a veterinarian. If the animal has an increased sensitivity to drugs, a test must be performed before use. To do this, apply a small amount of the drug and observe the body’s reaction. Be sure to have anti-allergy medications on hand so that if necessary, you can immediately help your pet.
Note! Do not instill medicine into the ear canal if the eardrum is perforated.
In case of overdose, BlochNet can cause unpleasant symptoms:
- nausea and vomiting;
- weakness;
- muscle tremors;
- increased salivation.
If the above symptoms are detected, the dog needs to be bathed, possibly using shampoo. If necessary, symptomatic therapy can be used.
Side effects after application
When the dose is correctly determined and the rules for applying the repellent are followed, the drug never shows a toxic effect on the pet. An exception may be cases of intolerance to any of the components of BlochNet or the development of allergies. With such disorders, the animal most often experiences local skin reactions in the form of itching, hyperemia and peeling of the upper layer of skin. To cure your pet, it is enough to wash off the substance from the fur and skin.
Attention! If washing off the drug does not give the desired result, the animal continues to suffer due to an allergic reaction, you need to contact a veterinarian and give your pet an antiallergic drug.
“BlochNet”, when correctly determining doses and following the rules of application, never shows a toxic effect on the pet
Owner reviews
Anna, husky breeder:
“I have been using BlochNet drops for my dogs for several years now. We haven’t noticed a single sucking tick, although we live outside the city, where there are a lot of them. I apply the medicine to both adult pets and puppies. There have never been any side effects, but I always strictly follow the dosage.”
Andrey, owner of a 2-year-old dog:
“A new resident has appeared in our house - a cute dog, very similar to a Labrador. My son loves to play with it. When we moved to the dacha in the summer, we took the dog with us. Already on the first day, two ticks were found. I had to take action quickly. Treated with BlochNet drops. The smell is unpleasant. The dog didn’t like something (perhaps the smell) and struggled. But by evening the ticks fell off on their own. The drug works well and is inexpensive.”

Pharmacological (biological) properties and effects
Insectoacaricidal drug. It has pronounced activity against the larval and mature phases of development of fleas, lice, lice, ixodid and sarcoptic ticks that parasitize dogs and cats, and has a repellent effect against blood-sucking mosquitoes.
After cutaneous application, the drug, without being absorbed into the systemic bloodstream, accumulates in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands of the animal’s body and has a long-term contact insectoacaricidal effect.
The mechanism of action of fipronil, which is part of the drug, is to disrupt the passage of chlorine ions in the GABA-dependent ectoparasite receptors, disrupt the transmission of nerve impulses and the activity of the nervous system and lead to paralysis and death of arthropods.
Benzyl benzoate, penetrating through the chitinous cover and accumulating in the body of ticks in toxic concentrations, has an acaricidal effect on the larvae and adults of the parasite.
Dimethyl phthalate has repellent properties, protecting animals from mosquito attacks.
The duration of the protective effect of the drug after a single treatment of the animal remains:
- against fleas for - 1.5-2 months;
- against lice, lice and ixodid ticks - for 1 month;
- against blood-sucking mosquitoes - 5-7 days.
In terms of the degree of impact on the body, BlochNet drops are classified as low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76): LD50 when administered orally to laboratory animals is more than 5000 mg/kg of animal weight; in recommended doses they do not have a skin-irritating, resorptive-toxic or sensitizing effect; if they come into contact with the eyes, they cause mild irritation.
Indications for use of the drug BLOCHNET DROPS
Treatment of dogs and cats for:
- entomoses;
- otodectosis;
— damage by ixodid ticks.
To prevent attacks of ectoparasites on animals.
Application procedure
To kill insects, as well as to prevent attacks on animals by fleas, lice, lice, ixodid ticks and mosquitoes, the drug is used once by drip application to the skin.
The drug, spreading the fur, is applied to the skin at several points in the back between the shoulder blades or in the neck at the base of the skull (in places inaccessible to licking by animals) in the doses indicated in the table.
Type of animal, weight | Drug dose |
Dogs | |
up to 10 kg | 1 ml |
from 10 to 20 kg | 2 ml |
from 20 to 30 kg | 3 ml |
from 30 to 50 kg | 5 ml |
Cats | |
up to 3 kg | 16 drops |
from 3 to 5 kg | 22 drops |
more than 5 kg | 1 ml (or 26 drops) |
When treating dogs weighing more than 50 kg, an additional 1 ml of the drug is applied for every subsequent 10 kg of weight.
Repeated treatments of animals are carried out according to indications, but not more than once a month.
In order to prevent re-infestation by fleas, animal bedding is replaced or treated with an insecticidal agent in accordance with the instructions for its use.
To destroy ixodid ticks on the body of an animal, the drug in the amount of 1 drop is applied to the tick at the place of its attachment to the skin. If the tick does not fall off spontaneously within 20 minutes, it is carefully pulled out of the skin with tweezers and destroyed.
For the ear form of scabies (otodectosis) in dogs and cats, the external auditory canal is cleaned of scabs and crusts, then 2-4 drops of the drug are instilled into each ear (depending on the size of the animal). In order to more completely treat the entire surface of the ear and ear canal, the auricle is folded in half and its base is lightly massaged. Treatment is carried out 2 times with an interval of 5-7 days. BlochNet drops must be administered into both ears, even in cases of otodectosis affecting only one ear.
For otodectosis complicated by otitis, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory drugs are prescribed. If necessary, the course of treatment is repeated.
Side effects
With increased individual sensitivity of animals to the components of the drug, lacrimation, excessive salivation, muscle tremors, vomiting, and signs of skin irritation may occur.
Contraindications to the use of the drug BLOCHNET DROPS

Spray Blokhnet
Blokhnet spray
Blokhnet spray has the same composition as Blokhnet max drops, but a flavoring agent with the smell of watermelon freshness is added to the preparation as a fragrance. The sprayer provides comfortable and complete coverage of the entire body surface being treated. Fine spraying prevents overuse of product and excessive wetting of the pet's fur.
The spray is used to treat entomosis and prevent infection by fleas, ticks, and lice-eaters.
Blokhnet spray, the instructions for which are provided with a table for calculating the dose of the drug depending on the weight and length of the animal’s fur, is simple and easy to use. The flea remedy is applied to the entire surface of the pet’s body in the direction of hair growth. The spray irritates the mucous membranes, so you should avoid getting it in the eyes, nose and mouth of your dog or cat. The treatment is carried out in a well-ventilated area or in the open air. The wool is then dried.
Important!
For 2-3 days, do not allow the treated animal to come into contact with children and other pets. Do not treat near birds or aquarium fish.
The spray is used to treat animals affected by sarcoptoid mites in combination with other medications. When affected by ear mites, the ear canal is thoroughly cleaned of parasites and treated with a spray.
Blokhnet spray for dogs, which has positive reviews as a drug against otodectosis, is recommended by doctors in the complex treatment of pathology and as a preventive measure. The spray is also used to treat pet beds and bedding.
