Fas uses a unique combination of nerve agent pyrethroids and the toxic thiamethoxam, which work in tandem to deliver a devastating blow to the body of a single cockroach. By distributing the powder and gel among its population, each cockroach increases the area of infection every minute, dooming its relatives to quick death. The variety of FAS production forms makes it a universal solution for any occasion.
There are things whose name speaks for itself. This applies to the insecticide Fas. Having been on the market for an impressive amount of time, Fas has established itself as an effective cockroach repellent that can quickly and permanently cope with widespread infections. It is based on dangerous and toxic substances that are harmful to insects, people and animals, so preparing solutions and protecting premises with this insecticide must be safe.
Composition Fas
This product is based on effective neuroparalytic pyrethroids, which are considered a panacea for insect control. Fas uses not one type, but several pyrethroids at once - in the most dangerous combinations for insects, which penetrate the cockroach’s body as quickly as possible. In addition to pyrethroids, the drug contains thiamethoxam, another dangerous and toxic substance that expands the range of insects that Fasa Double can eat: ants, bedbugs, fleas and other crawling insects are now on the list of victims.
Preparation of the solution
Before starting to work with the substance, be sure to purchase protective equipment. Read the instructions and follow them strictly. Already at the stage of preparing the solution, you need to wear gloves, a respirator and goggles, clothing should completely cover the body, there should be no exposed skin. Only the person performing the procedure is in the room, during which you cannot buy, drink or eat.
To prepare, you will need a container for mixing powder and water; it is better to use a spray bottle immediately so as not to overfill the liquid. It must be diluted in a ratio of 1:20; it is forbidden to increase the concentration of the solution.
Principle of action on cockroaches
The main active ingredients used in Fas have a paralytic-nervous effect. Once in the body (be it through chitin, the respiratory tract or the digestive tract), toxins disrupt the functioning of the nervous system and block the production of vital amino acids. 6-9 hours after poisoning, the cockroach experiences nervous paralysis, after which it immediately dies. During this time, the cockroach manages to spread the plague among its relatives, quickly spreading it throughout the entire population in the most inaccessible places.
Thanks to the effective combination of pyrethroids enriched with thiamethoxam, Fas can poison even the future offspring of cockroaches, eliminating the simple possibility of relapse.
What does it represent?
The FAS insecticide shows good results in the fight against cockroaches. Previously, it was used only by sanitary and epidemiological services for disinsection of premises. Now this product can be found on the open market for self-treatment in the apartment.
The use of drugs from the FAS line helps to get rid of not only cockroaches, but also bedbugs, ants, fleas, and ticks. However, they must be used with extreme caution, since improper use can negatively affect the health of humans and pets.

The tablets can also be used in their natural form or crushed and dissolved as above. These two forms can be used simultaneously, including in powder or tablet form. as a solution to improve efficiency.
The gel is applied to the areas where cockroaches live and move in thin strips, dots or rings using a fine-tipped syringe - this means one shape.
The first thing to do during the procedure is to apply insecticide to window sills, sills and vents. holes to prevent cockroaches from escaping from the “party” at the start of the party. Then start caring for baseboards, floors, appliance and cabinet backs, as well as shelves and tables.
Super Fas remains active for several weeks, after which the room should be ventilated and wet cleaned. If necessary, repeat the process after a few weeks.

Reviews
Irina: Fas helps a lot in advanced cases, after a few days almost all the cockroaches died, the rest ran away wherever they could, but I don’t think they survived. From time to time we carry out preventative treatment to prevent our neighbors from escaping, but we are not afraid of re-infection with Fas.
Peter: This is the only product that actually killed all the ants and cockroaches in the barn. They didn’t even have time to escape; they died right on the windowsill and on the threshold. For several months I did not see a single tick crawling, and before that the barn was literally swarming with cockroaches.
Yaroslav: I covered all the baseboards with powder, and the cockroaches immediately became soaked in it. I didn’t even have time to get to the cracks, and the ones that were the most dirty began to curl and die. It’s a very dangerous thing, you can’t breathe in it, because his eyes immediately darken and he vomits violently, he almost didn’t call an ambulance for me, it was so bad that I accidentally inhaled. I almost called an ambulance by inhaling it, so I inhaled it accidentally. However, it did help me get rid of the cockroaches.
Precautionary measures
When processing premises, FAS pays special attention to maintaining the safety of exterminators. When working, it is mandatory to use personal protective equipment:
- general-arms gas mask or respirator with a gas mask cartridge, grade “A”;
- latex gloves;
- smock;
- protective glasses.
Smoking and eating are prohibited in the treated area. After working with the drug, it is recommended to rinse your mouth and nose, as well as wash your face and hands with soap.
Allergy sufferers should use FAS with great caution. It is important to avoid contact with eyes and skin. Remove the solution from the skin with a rag or cotton swab. If the drug gets on the mucous membrane or in the eyes, rinse them with plenty of water or a two percent solution of baking soda. In case of poisoning through the respiratory tract, the victim is taken out into clean air, his work clothes are removed and he is allowed to rinse his mouth and nose with water. After this, the victim needs to take a warm drink to which baking soda has been added (1 teaspoon per glass of liquid).
Toxicity
Anti-cockroach preparations from the FAS line are classified as highly toxic. The negative impact of poisons on the human body leads to food poisoning due to inhalation of toxic fumes.
- dizziness;
- vomit;
- labored breathing;
- metallic sensation in the mouth.
If these symptoms appear, you need to leave the room, drink activated carbon at the rate of 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight, and if you feel worse, consult a doctor.
Active ingredients
FAS insecticide is a two-component remedy against cockroaches. Composition: thiamethoxam and Z-cypermetrim. Both components interact with each other, enhancing the combined effect.
Thiamethoxam
A classic insecticide belonging to the class of neonicotinoids. Outwardly it looks like a light or creamy odorless powder, easily soluble in water.
The principle of action of thiamethoxam is systemic translaminar activity against gnawing and piercing-sucking insects. It retains its properties in the external environment for 2 weeks, acting on the nicotine acetylcholine receptors of the nervous system of parasites, which leads to the death of the latter.
Thiamethoxam is used against parasites and pests on wheat, barley, potatoes and other vegetable, flower and fruit crops.
Z-cypermethrin
A common second-generation pyrethroid, which in its base form is a viscous, colorless crystalloid liquid with a slight unpleasant odor.
The substance acts locally, but easily penetrates the integument of insects and disrupts the functioning of their nervous system, causing paralysis. After treatment, they remain effective for at least 20 days, while the insecticide is resistant to high temperatures and ultraviolet radiation.
