1. In the side walls of a homemade cardboard “house” (or a box of any product), cut openings for insects.

3. Place some kind of bait with a bright aroma in the center of the trap. A small piece of smoked sausage or onion is perfect.
4. As the trap becomes full of stuck insects, replace it with a new one.

Another option for a sticky trap for cockroaches is regular double-sided tape without any additions. At night, cover baseboards with it, as well as floors near plumbing fixtures and the trash can. In the morning you will find a lot of “prisoners” on the sticky tape.

How to do

1. To make a slippery cockroach trap at home, prepare a small glass or jar. You can use a cut plastic bottle.
2. Lubricate the inner walls of the container with vegetable oil or Vaseline. Do not spare any expense - the surface of the wall should slide well.
3. Place some strong-smelling bait (sausage, fish, egg) at the bottom. You can also pour beer, in which the cockroach will immediately drown.
4. Place a wide strip of cardboard or a regular stationery ruler against the container to create something like a “bridge” for insects.

A jar of bait, oil and cockroaches is not a pleasant sight. To disguise this unsightly “picture,” the outside of the jar needs to be covered with a fabric adhesive plaster, paper strips, or simply wrapped in an opaque cloth.

Remember that even the most effective cockroach traps cannot completely solve the problem of household pests. This is a preventative or auxiliary remedy. It is advisable to use traps to control small populations of pests or in combination with powerful insecticidal agents. Don’t forget about maintaining perfect cleanliness in your home.
